Eyal Adar is one of the leading experts in the area of CIP (Critical Infrastructure Protection) and IT Security. Mr. Adar is the founder and CEO of iTcon Ltd., a consulting firm specializing in enterprise security architecture.
Mr. Adar has been a member of the supreme security committee for one of the largest banks in Europe as Senior Security Architect. He has taken part as Chief Security Architect in numerous major financial and other projects, among those security design for the Israeli e-Government project.
Mr. Adar is involved in several leading CIP research initiatives within the European Commission's Research Program, among those the ACIP project (Assessment of Critical Infrastructure Protection) that yielded a roadmap for development of methodologies for CIP related activities. Mr. Adar is on the advisory board for the CI2RCO project, aimed at coordinating European CIP research, and for the IRRIIS project which analyzes dependencies between critical infrastructures. He is also one of the founding editors of the European CIIP Newsletter (available at http://www.ci2rco.org).
Mr. Adar is a member of the Israeli delegation to WSIS (World Summit of Information Society), which took place in Geneva in 2003 and Tunis in 2005 (access the presentation at http://www.mfa.gov.il/wsis/Security_Solutions.html).
He is also the founder of White Cyber Knight, currently developing a comprehensive risk management software for medium-sized and large organizations.
